First of all — YAY! I’m so excited to work with you. Now that you're officially on the books, here's a little guide

to help you prep and feel 100% ready for your shoot.

📍 Picking Your Location

I’ve got a full list of stunning spots for you to choose from — just CLICK HERE to explore and see sample photos from each location!

  • Eldorado, Chautauqua, Standley Lake & Red Rocks are afternoon-only — the light is best later in the day.

  • The rest of the locations work beautifully for either morning or afternoon sessions!!

📍 What to Expect

  • Sessions are usually 45 minutes to an hour — I’m super efficient and I talk a lot and will guide you the entire time :)

  • If you’re nervous about posing, don’t worry: I’ll guide you the whole way. It’s basically a guided tour of “How to Look Cute with No Awkward Hands.”

  • We will reschedule if it's raining. But clouds? Totally fine — nice even light!

📍What to Wear

You can bring up to 3 outfits, so let’s make them count! A few styling tips to help you look and feel amazing:

For the Girls:

  • Definitely bring at least one outfit with jeans, shorts, or pants — especially for sitting poses

  • Variety is key: think casual, something a little dressy, and something uniquely you.

  • Flowy dresses, textured fabrics, layers and accessories photograph beautifully.

  • Makeup photographs well and does surprisingly looks like you have less on so feel free to go a little heavier than normal

  • Shoes matter! Bring a couple options if you're unsure — and don’t forget to bring flip flops or Birks for walking if you are doing heels

For the Boys:

Let’s keep it easy, cool, and camera-ready

  • Button-downs, polos, or solid, fitted t-shirts (Vuori vibes!) are all great options.

  • You can absolutely go for colorblues, pinks, grays, earth tones look awesome, especially with all the green of summer.

  • Just skip all-white shirts — if you are fair skinned, they tend to blow out in photos and reflect too much light.

  • Blazers are great if you want to dress it up a bit — otherwise, keep it breezy and laid-back.

  • Bottoms: Jeans, khakis or nice shorts. Steer clear of wrinkly athletic shorts.

  • No-show or low socks are your best friend. Say a polite “no thanks” to big white Nike socks :)

  • If you want to do a few in your FAV hoodie that is a great idea too

  • Shoes: Clean sneakers, boots, loafers, or anything simple that fits the vibe.

💡 Tip: Try to avoid loud logos or graphics unless it’s intentional — solid or subtly patterned pieces tend to photograph best.

📍What You’ll Get

After your session:

  • I’ll deliver your gallery within 10 days

  • You’ll get to favorite your top 5 images (included with your upfront cost).

  • Want more? You can totally add-on extra images once you see the magic.

  • $95 single image

  • + 5 images (makes it 10) - $195

  • + FULL gallery download - $295

(retouching included on all final images)

📍Final Details

  • Your final balance is due by the day of the session — easy peasy.

  • Payment options and reminders will come your way before then!

REMINDER TERMS & CONDITIONS

Deposit and Payment

To reserve your spot, a $195 deposit is required. This will go toward your total session fee of $595, which includes the session and five digital images.

The remaining $400 balance is due on the day of the session. You’ll receive an invoice about a week before our session date as a reminder.

Extra Images

If you’d like more images, here are some options:

$95 – Add 1 extra image

$195 – Add 5 extra images (for a total of 10)

$295 – Download all images from your session

Weather

If it rains, no worries — we’ll reschedule to a better day. But if it’s just cloudy, we’ll go ahead as planned because that soft light is actually perfect!

Travel Fee

If you’d like me to come outside the Denver Metro Area, a $95 travel fee will apply.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let me know at least 7 days in advance. Deposits are non-refundable if cancellations happen within 6 days of the session.

Rescheduling Policy

I understand that sometimes life happens! If you need to reschedule, please let me know at least 48 hours before your session. Rescheduling with proper notice is free of charge.

For last-minute reschedules (less than 48 hours), a $50 rescheduling fee will apply, except in cases of illness or emergency. This helps me manage my schedule and ensures fairness for other clients.

Please note that sessions are not rescheduled due to outfit or hair concerns, as it’s best to prepare those in advance.

Session Time & Delivery

Our session will last about 45-60 mins depending on type of session. You can expect your gallery to be delivered within 10 days after the shoot.

How You Can Use Your Images

You’re welcome to use your images for personal use—sharing with family, printing, and social media.

Sharing Your Photos

I’d love to share some of your photos on my website and social media to show off my work. If you’d rather I don’t, no problem—just let me know!

If Something Unexpected Happens

While I take every precaution, if equipment issues or something unexpected happen that affect your session, my liability is limited to the session fee paid.
